While the COVID-19 vaccine is here, the POMA Clinical Assembly Planning Committee has made the decision to offer the in-person conference as a virtual event.  This decision was made out of concern for the safety of our attendees, faculty, families and patients.

Our expert faculty will provide 34 hours of cutting-edge medical updates in both live stream and on-demand format that you can watch from the comfort of your home or office through May 31, 2021.  You'll also have the opportunity to network with your colleagues and see the latest solutions from our sponsors.

Registration for POMA21 is open - click here to register online!  The form can also be downloaded and submitted via fax or mail.

Be sure to check back for updated information as we get closer to the event!

Technical Information

Registrants will receive an email mid-April with POMA21 viewing instructions.  The virtual conference platform is the same as last year so sessions can be viewed on a variety of electronic devices, including computers, tablets and smart phones.  For ease of use and visibility, we do encourage use of a computer, laptop or tablet.

Lectures will be recorded and made available to all registrants for live-stream and on-demand viewing through May 31.  Questions may be submitted to the speakers when viewing the lectures on-demand and a short evaluation will need to be completed after viewing so you can still earn AOA Category 1-A CME credits.  Additional information will be made available in April.

Program Information

The Education Committee has worked hard to plan the curriculum for POMA21 and they made sure there's something for everyone!  As always, the program will feature expert speakers who will discuss cutting-edge medical updates and relevant information to help you provide the best possible care to your patients.  There will be sessions on the latest updates on COVID-19, cardiology, endocrinology, diagnostic testing, pediatrics and OMT with hands-on demonstrations.

This year's program will offer 34 Category 1-A AOA CME credits and 30 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.  Patient safety, risk management and opioid credits applicable to Pennsylvania licensure requirements are included.  Click here to view the tentative schedule.

The Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association (POMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. POMA designates this live activity for a maximum of 34 Category 1-A AOA CME credits and will report CME and specialty credits to the AOA commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity. The Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association (POMA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. POMA designates this live activity for a maximum of 30 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The POMA 113th Annual Clinical Assembly & Scientific Seminar has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the AOA Council on Continuing Medical Education and the ACCME. Attendees can earn 1 CME credit for every 60 minutes of educational time.
