RESERVE YOUR ROOM AT KALAHARIVIEW THE TENTATIVE SCHEDULEAbout the POMA24 Education Program Our in-person conference is incorporating a variety of interactive, hands-on learning to supplement the classroom learning experience. Plan to bring your family to our interactive Drugs 101 session on Saturday morning so you can learn together and continue the conversation at home. Participate in our OMM sessions and learn how to incorporate easy, effective techniques into your daily practice. Explore mobile/travelling units for mammogram services and veteran's health services and learn about services that are available in communities across the state to serve all patients in the Commonwealth. All lectures will be presented live, in-person at Kalahari May 1-4, 2024. All of our educational lectures will be recorded and converted into on-demand format for remote viewing from May 10-June 10, 2024. Our faculty and experts will be available to respond to your questions/comments on the content presented in a timely fashion. This is what enables us to award 1-A AOA credit! Note, this is not a live simulcast event. Technical instructions for virtual viewing will be provided on May 10th. In total, 34 Category 1-A AOA CME Credits and 34 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM are available, including courses applicable to Pennsylvania's mandated reporter training, opioid education and patient safety licensure requirements. Our goal is to provide you the most affordable, high-quality osteopathic education experience in the country. For just $17 per credit, earn the credits you need with POMA and join us for POMA24! And remember, 2024 is a license renewal year! VIEW THE TENTATIVE SCHEDULESocial, Networking, Wellness, Swimsuits and the Mummers! Join us on Wednesday evening for our Welcome Reception. Registrants, exhibitors and families are invited to attend. Dress is casual. On Thursday evening, POMPAC and Pennsylvania's colleges of osteopathic medicine are hosting individual receptions at Kalahari. Reconnect with your alma mater and the PAC! Additional details will be provided soon! Friday evening, we will celebrate incoming president William Swallow, DO. The festivities begin with a reception followed by dinner, dancing and the mummers! Dress is semiformal/black-tie optional. Bring your dancing shoes for a fun night out! Keeping with the family friendly environment, POMA is again offering child care services Friday evening during the President's Celebration. The service is offered by a professional, insured organization for children ages 13 and under. Sign up on the registration form or contact POMA. Throughout the conference, POMA's Wellness Committee is offering several opportunities to relax and unwind. Start off the day with a quick workout by venturing out on the outdoor trials or get your steps in indoors. They are also looking to host a massage station and therapy dogs. Stay tuned for more info! And of course, we'll be at Kalahari, home of the largest indoor waterpark in Pennsylvania, so bring your swimsuits and unwind on the lazy river!
