POMA strives to meet our members education needs by providing the most high-quality, affordable and accessible Osteopathic education in the country.

• AOA and ACCME Accreditation
  POMA offers all the credits you need to maintain your Osteopathic license in Pennsylvania.  POMA is accredited by the AOA and the ACCME so we can offer Category 1-A AOA credit and AMA PRA Category 1 credit to support osteopathic physicians who are board certified by  the AOA, ABMS or both.
• Offers State Required Education
  POMA's education offerings provides opportunities to earn the state required credits in opioid, child abuse, and patient safety education.
• CME Tracking Service
  POMA provides a CME tracking service that enables members to see how many credits they have for the current licensure cycle.  POMA automatically imports credits that we sponsor and members have the ability to add credits they earn outside of POMA. 
• POMA Annual Clinical Assembly
  Held every spring (late April-early May), the Clinical Assembly offers up to 34 hours of Category 1-A AOA and AMA PRA Category 1 credits which includes credits for state licensure.  Early-bird pricing is an incredible bargain at just $17 per credit!
• POMA District VIII Winter Seminar
  Held every January, the District 8 seminar offers up to 24 hours of Category 1-A AOA and AMA PRA Category 1 credits.  Early-bird pricing offers credits at a discounted price of just $18 per credit! 
• Local CME Events
  District leaders organize localized educational events for members to engage and learn from local experts.

• Advocacy
  POMA has regular meetings with legislators and regulators to support and protect the osteopathic identity in the state of Pennsylvania. 
• POMPAC
  The political action committee of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association and the political voice of the POMA.
• State Board of Osteopathic Medicine
  POMA works closely with the state board of osteopathic medicine which regulates licensure for osteopathic physicians.
