POMA's Mental Health Task Force

POMA’s Mental Health Task Force is committed to encouraging osteopathic family mental health/well-being through focused activities sponsored and supported by POMA and the POMA Foundation. Our goal is to start the conversation and open dialogue regarding personal well-being at all levels of the osteopathic profession from students to attending physicians.

Physicians understand the importance of mental health in their patients but can find difficulty in addressing their own mental health. That's why the Mental Health Task Force actively works to keep this important topic open for discussion through our How Are You DOing? blog, our Mental Health Task Force Grant program and by participating in national awareness campaigns. We have also provided you with a list of physician resources at the bottom of this page to refer to for information or assistance.
