You're invited to join POMA for a day at Clyde Peeling’s Reptiland in Allenwood, PA on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Bring your family to earn some CME, learn about venom and explore this unique attraction in our own backyard!
The zoo opens at 9:00 am and the 2-hour interactive CME session will begin at 10:00 am. Reptiland’s zoological manager and venom expert, Kathryn Allen, will showcase some of the venomous reptiles in residence, followed by Natalie Ebeling-Koning, DO and Derek Fikse, DO, presenting some interesting venomous case-studies.
Families are encouraged to attend the full event to learn and explore the zoo. You’ll enjoy an up-close experience with one of their professional reptile keepers and a special animal, participate in a scavenger hunt and explore the zoo until closing time. Every show offers an opportunity to touch a live reptile!
This is a free event that you won’t want to miss! We can’t wait to see you there!
*CME is available IN-PERSON ONLY. Members need to attend the full extent of the symposium to receive credit.
