St. Christophers Hospital Pediatrics - Mini Golf Extravaganza 05.04.24

On May 4, 2024 pediatric residents from St Christopher’s Hospital for Children were invited for a round of mini golf funded by POMA at Franklin Square in Philadelphia, PA.

Although it was a chilly and rainy day, it was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and memorable moments for all ages. As residents, their partners, and children arrived, they were greeted by the Philadelphia themed....
     

 .... obstacles that adorned the miniature golf course. One of the highlights of the event was the chance for camaraderie and bonding among peers. As players traversed the course, they shared jokes, offered tips, and celebrated each other's successes, creating lasting memories and forging new friendships. We even got to teach our co-resident’s 15-month-old daughter how to play (but mostly chased her around while trying to get our ball back)! For residents who were not able to attend due to working engagements or the rainy day, they were provided a mini-golf ticket to use in small groups of their own by the end of the June 2024. Overall, 36 residents were able to obtain tickets to the event.
