...... the end of their residency training with family and friends. Attendees enjoyed a delicious charcuterie board, several toasts, and many, many roasts.
- General understanding/purpose of the boat ride was to expose our residents to wellness outside of the hospital in a safe environment surrounded by each other, as well as nature. To give everyone a mental break while soaking in some sun with a relaxing riverboat ride!
- Strategies demonstrated included coping with stress, relaxation via socialization, and life balance via mindfullness.
- Chaos, disarray, and disorganization.
- I think more participation will lead to more success - emphasizing that the event is more than just a fun outdoor event but rather a chance to step away from the stressful environment we all know.
- Definitely will approach situations in a calmer manner - I think that a lot of the time we come to work with a calm demeanor but often become stressed within minutes of arriving. Will practice mindfullness to maintain a calm demeanor while working throughout my entire shift.
