UPMC Harrisburg Internal Medicine - Hershey Bears Game March 23, 2022

Fifteen designated osteopathic residents, along with the Director of Osteopathic Education, went to see the Hershey Bears hockey team face off against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on March 23, 2022 at the Giant Center in Hershey, PA......

This was a great opportunity for the residents to be intentional about carving out some time to relax and bond with one another outside of the work environment. This event was especially exciting for the PGY-1 and PGY-2 residents, whose entire training program has been defined by the COVID-19 pandemic.  Over the last two years, group events have typically been postponed or cancelled in the mitigation efforts, and now with infection numbers declining and CDC guidelines easing, they were finally able to spend some time bonding and doing an activity that promotes work-life balance. We are so appreciative of the grant and the opportunity to go to the game. The residents had a blast!
