.....a piece to paint and we had lunch together while we worked on our pottery projects. Overall the afternoon was very successful. It was a great break from clinical responsibilities for the afternoon. We were able to talk about life outside of work. We got to know more about each other’s lives outside of work. I sent out a post survey asking some general questions in regards to wellness and how doing activities like the pottery painting help with both resident wellness and team building. Overall everyone answered positively to the follow-up questions. Majority of those that answered felt like wellness activities like this help to build comradery within in the resident and make it easier to work in a professional setting together. Majority also felt that having experiences like this makes it easier to communicate in a work setting and makes them feel supported by their peers. All felt that wellness activates like this were a worth wild experience
