In just a few weeks from this publication, osteopathic physicians from across the country will meet in Chicago for the American Osteopathic Association’s annual House of Delegates meeting. This year, 43 delegates and 43 alternate delegates from Pennsylvania will attend, including four student delegates and four student alternate delegates.. This page from the Winter 1961 issue of the Journal names the 11 delegates and 7 alternate delegates to the AOA. A lot has changed in the 65 years since these men attended the House of Delegates, but advocacy continues to be a driving force in osteopathic medicine.
