Committees have always been a vital part of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association. Just look at this page from the summer edition of the JPOA in 1962, outlining the committee chairs for the next fiscal year. While the actual committees are a bit different, the goals of the organization appear to be the same in 1962 as they are now in 2026, with a focus on support for osteopathic physicians and their patients.
