Access to the POMA District VIII 39th Annual Educational Winter Seminar will be enabled on Wednesday, January 21.

POMA District VIII Winter Seminar

The POMA District VIII Winter Seminar is designed with you in mind. The live conference will be held January 22–25, 2026 at Seven Springs Mountain Resort and simulcast live for virtual participation. All content will be recorded and made available for on-demand viewing through February 2026.

Back by popular demand, District VIII will host our second POMA Winter Residency Fair. This event brings together residency programs from across the Commonwealth for students to network and learn more about residency and training opportunities. The fair will be held Saturday, January 24 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Take advantage of the family-friendly atmosphere and bring the whole family. The mountain will be ready for skiing and snow tubing. Indoors you can enjoy the arcade and bounce house or relax in the spa. Daily family-friendly social events are also planned throughout the conference.

Our annual District VIII member meeting will be held on Saturday afternoon. We’ll provide updates impacting our region in Southwest Pennsylvania, as well as developments across the state and country. We’ll also select local members to lead District VIII and represent the region at the state and national level.

Education Program

The education committee is working hard to plan a program filled with immediately applicable insights for your practice, including the latest in opioids, psychiatry, hematology, orthopedics, endocrinology, pulmonology, cardiology, mandated reporter training, and more.
