As you may be aware, the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medicine Association (POMA) has a charitable arm, known as the POMA Foundation. The Foundation’s mission includes continuing education and promotion of public health consistent with the principles of Osteopathic Medicine.

We are excited to announce that the POMA Foundation is gearing up its grantmaking this year. Its first Request for Proposals, seeking applications for Osteopathic Medicine Community Enhancing Grants, is now open!

The RFP is attached and linked here. Please feel free to share it with anyone in your circle who might be interested in applying for a grant. Eligible applicants must be nonprofit organizations, or have a sponsorship agreement with a nonprofit.

To apply for a grant, register and login to the Foundation’s online application system. Proposals must be completed and submitted by January 13, 2022 with all required responses and attachments in order to be considered for funding in this grant cycle. Please use the access code POMAF to access the application.

If you have questions regarding the application, please contact the Foundation’s Program Officers, Danielle Belanger at 617-391-3073 or [email protected] or Amy Segal Shorey at [email protected]. Technical questions about the online application should be directed to Anna Doggett at [email protected].

We are very excited about this opportunity to engage directly with those supporting the osteopathic profession, its principles and its practices. We look forward to hearing from you!
