Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Radiology Program - Bowling - January 2025

The Jefferson Einstein Medical Center - Montgomery Radiology Resident Program hosted a bowling event in January as part of a wellness initiative funded by the Resident Wellness Grant, sponsored by POMA and supported by the POMA Foundation. The purpose of the event was to promote team bonding, stress relief, and work-life balance among residents.

Bowling was chosen as the activity because it was highly rated in a previous POMA-funded event and provided a fun, low-pressure environment for junior and senior residents to interact. The event emphasized physical activity and social engagement as strategies for well-being, helping residents break from demanding schedules. Participants noted that it reinforced the importance of taking breaks, fostering social connections, and maintaining emotional support to reduce workplace stress.
